Uniform format proposal
[edit]A proposal is being floated at the project page that there be a standard format for organising each article about national provinces of the Anglican Communion, including this one. Please consider participating in the straw vote and discussion. Cheers! Fishhead64 21:43, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Hys badge.jpg
[edit]The image Image:Hys badge.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Page name
[edit]Normally organizations with non-English names have translated names as their page title, and then the native name in parenthesis in the lead. I would do that here, except that in this case I have basically never heard it called anything other than 'Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui', even in strictly English contexts. Thoughts? Like the Anglican Church of Japan (Nippon Sei Ko Kai - Holy Catholic Church of Japan) I think the name translates as the Holy Catholic Church of Hong Kong - a HK friend of mine reckoned that was right. Anglo-catholic missionaries didn't want the Roman Church's presumption of being the only catholics in the universe to be thought to be true in Asia. Wonder if the same holds true for the Korean Church. 60.240.27.204 (talk) 06:50, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
Disambiguation
[edit]An IP editor has twice removed the disambiguation for SKH without explanation. Is there something I'm missing? Tb (talk) 18:03, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Talk:Personal Ordinariate
[edit]Apart from the Traditional Anglican Communion, the article should really consider verifying whether groups within the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui have ever sought a similar canonical structure to the proposed personal ordinariates. ADM (talk) 18:08, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
NPOV
[edit]wording and general tone seems contrary to NPOV examples: "also actively develops education and social service to bring harmony, peace and joy to the Hong Kong community." "Despite contributing a great deal in the field of education" Kiki0021 (talk) 08:00, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
